Welcome to ClariHooD, a Denmark-based consultancy ApS. By using our webshop and services, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions.

2. Scope of Services

ClariHooD provides consultancy services in scientific writing, editing, statistical analysis, systematic reviews, publication strategy, peer review support, and training. We also offer access to a metadata-driven SaaS platform for research matchmaking.

3. Ordering and Payment

  • Services can be ordered directly via our webshop.

  • Prices are listed in DKK (Danish Kroner) and include VAT unless otherwise stated.

  • Payment must be completed before services are delivered, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

  • Payment methods accepted: credit card, bank transfer.

4. Delivery of Services

  • Consultancy services are delivered digitally (via email, online platform, video calls, or onsite by agreement).

  • Estimated delivery times vary depending on the service and will be agreed upon individually.

  • Workshops and training may be delivered online or on-site by agreement.

5. Refund and Withdrawal Policy

  • Under Danish and EU law, customers generally have a 14-day right of withdrawal for online purchases.

  • Due to the nature of digital consultancy services, once the service has started with the customer's consent, the right of withdrawal no longer applies.

  • Refunds are only provided if the service has not been started, or if agreed upon in exceptional cases.

6. Customer Obligations

  • Customers must provide accurate and complete information when ordering.

  • Customers are responsible for ensuring that data, manuscripts, or materials provided do not infringe on the rights of third parties.

  • ClariHooD is not liable for delays caused by incomplete or incorrect information from the customer.

7. Intellectual Property

  • All materials, reports, and consultancy outputs delivered by ClariHooD are for the customer's internal use unless otherwise agreed.

  • ClariHooD retains the right to reuse general knowledge, methods, and know-how acquired during consultancy.

  • The customer owns the final manuscript or project output once full payment has been made.

8. Confidentiality and Data Protection

  • ClariHooD handles all information with strict confidentiality.

  • We are GDPR-compliant and process only metadata on our platform; raw data and biological samples are not stored.

  • Customer data will not be shared with third parties without explicit consent.

9. Limitation of Liability

  • ClariHooD is not responsible for journal acceptance decisions, third-party peer review outcomes, or publication timelines.

  • Our consultancy services are advisory in nature; responsibility for final use of the results remains with the customer.

  • Liability for any claims is limited to the amount paid by the customer for the specific service.

10. Changes to Services and Terms

  • ClariHooD reserves the right to update service descriptions, prices, and these Terms & Conditions at any time.

  • Customers will be notified of significant changes affecting their ongoing services.

11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms & Conditions are governed by Danish law. Any disputes will be resolved by the courts of Denmark.
